Okay, this post is going to be a small one that features these super comfy slippers!
I love this pattern and it’s free! They work up really quick and they turn out so dang comfy!
They have been a best seller in my Etsy Shop these past three months!
The pattern says to use two strands of medium weight or thick yarn. I have done them with thick yarn and I made some with just one strand of medium weight and they all turned out great! The ones I sell are with one strand of medium weight.
You want to make sure you use soft yarn; I really like Red Heart With Love yarn. The thick yarn that I used was Lion Brand Hometown USA. I have also made some with a multi color yarn by Hobby Lobby I Love This Yarn, I can’t remember the name of the color.
The pattern calls for a 6.5 mm crochet hook which is what I used for the thick yarn, but I used a either a 6 mm crochet hook for the single strand of medium weight yarn. You just need to have measuring tape on hand and keep measuring.
I am a size 6 in Women's and did 17 rounds with the single strand medium weight and 12 rounds with the thick yarn in the first part of the pattern. Then I did 8 rounds with the single strand medium weight and 6 rows with the thick yarn in the second part of the pattern.
Then after slip stitching the back, I did 12 double crochets on the left side, 6 double crochets in the stitches across the top of the slipper, and 12 double crochets on the right side. I worked 3 rows of the front and back post double crochet for the cuff.
Thank you so much for stopping in on my site, I hope you come back again soon and that you share with others that may like it here too!
